Being one of the most important mega carriers at a world wide level, ZIM connects South America to the world through its two services: Zim South America Service and Zim Inter-Americas Service.

Both services have weekly frequencies and direct calls at the port of Montevideo.

Direct call ports and Distribution centres at the rest of the world:
Zim South America Service: Las Palmas, Tenerife, Barcelona, Genoa, Leghorn and Valencia

Zim Inter-Americas Service: Kingston, New York, Norfolk, Savannah and Miami

Through connections through its direct call ports which play as well the role of distribution centres, Zim is in a privileged position to give its clients, access to unimprovable price and quality conditions to the main destinations and origins of the influence area of each service: Europe including Eastern Europe and Africa (Northern, Western, Southern, and Eastern) through its Mediterranean service and United States (Gulf, East and West), Canada, Mexico, Central America and the Caribbean, through its Inter Americas service.

The new MERCOSUR service calls Brazil main ports, offering both excellent frequencies and key destinations calls. Zim takes Uruguayan exports to: Rio Grande, Itajai, Santos, Vitoria, and Fortaleza; and brings imports from Fortaleza, Rio de Janeiro y Santos. All above ports are served with direct weekly calls.
